A. Silous has been labeled "Mr. Smooth" around the music circuit for his silky tone and smooth delivery. He has been blessed with a unique gift and the ability to open the hearts of his listeners to receive the message of love, hope and encouragement that he has been called to give. A. Silous has heart for worship and is faithfully using his gift to impact those who are willing to give him a listen. He first featured with Nu Season Music Group label mates Richard Hollis and Vaughaligan Walwyn on the single "Celebrity" which peaked at number 3 on Reverbnation's online gospel music charts. Silous has also featured on hooks with christian hip-hop artists 5ive, Big Rich and Dillon Chase.

Anthony “A. Silous” Sweeney (born February 7, 1983) began singing at the age of 5 under the strict guidance of Sister McCloud at St. Luke Christian Church in Houston, Texas. He recalls watching his grandmother as he sang and she would always let him know if he was loud enough by placing her hand to her ear and giving him the ok when he was at the right volume. In 1996 Anthony began singing with a gospel group that toured locally to various churches within the Houston area. While attending Elsik High School he joined the Elsik Gospel Choir and there he found a love for community outreach. With the choir he would sing at fundraiser and school programs to encourage the youth in the surrounding communities.

After graduating, Sweeney began to pursuit a more secular style of music which was totally against everything he had been groomed to believe. After a brief hiatus from his gospel roots his conscience convicted him and he returned to the church and rededicated his life to God. In 2011, Silous became the praise and worship leader at Mountain Top SE Ministries in Houston, Texas and is now ready to present his gift to the world with his debut single "Closer" that will be released on the True Light Recordings label.
